What to Wear

• Think complementary colours—for example, pink on pink or pairing contrasting shades like navy with mustard for a bold look. It’s all about adding personality and energy to your portraits.

• Avoid overly busy patterns. Solid, rich colours work best to make you stand out while keeping the focus on your face and expression.

• Feel free to get creative! If you're feeling adventurous, bring along fun accessories or an outfit with a pop of colour that really speaks to your style and vibe. The more you stand out, the more vibrant your photos will be.

 

Hair & Makeup

• Keep things fun and fresh! Go for a style that makes you feel confident. You can even experiment with bold looks—think messy waves, slick ponytails, or unique braids.

• For makeup, I recommend something bright and lively that enhances your natural features. A matte finish is great, and you can also try a fun pop of colour on your lips or eyes to add extra vibrance to the shoot.

• You’re welcome to come styled and ready to go, but if you want to refresh during the session, feel free to bring some makeup products for quick touch-ups.

How to Pose & Feel Comfortable

• This isn’t your average stiff portrait session—let’s have fun with it! I'll guide you through different poses and help you feel confident, but bring your energy and don’t be afraid to show off your personality.

• If you’re unsure, I’ll help you feel relaxed and at ease. Play around with fun movements, like laughing, leaning in, or striking a quirky pose. This is all about capturing your authentic self.

• Let the shoot feel like you’re having fun in the moment—after all, it’s all about that fun, vibrant, and expressive energy!

Session Details

​

• Date: The session will take place on 13th April 2025 at Alley Way Studios off Gloucester Road.

• Duration: Each session lasts 1 hour, with only 6 spaces available throughout the day.

• Backdrops: You’ll have three backdrops included—one white backdrop, and you can choose two other coloursfrom the available options at the studio.

• Photos: You will receive at least 5 edited photos per backdrop.

• Turnaround Time: Your edited images will be delivered within 7-14 days.

• Retouching: Retouching is included in the price.

Additional Information

• Parking:
  Please note that there is no parking available directly at the studio. However, off-street parking is available around the studio area, so you should be able to find a spot nearby.

• Guests:
  You are welcome to bring a guest with you to the shoot, but please note that the session itself is for one person only. The guest can help with styling or provide support, but they won’t be part of the shoot.

• How long will it take to receive my photos?
  Your photos will be delivered within 7-14 days of the session. Retouching is included in the price, so you’ll get a polished final product!

• What if I need to reschedule my session?
  If you need to reschedule, please refer to the cancellation policy. If your request falls within the 7-14 day window, I’ll do my best to accommodate you by booking you into a different session, based on availability.

• Can I bring multiple outfits?
  Yes, you’re welcome to bring multiple outfits! I recommend focusing on tops as they’re easy to change into during the session. Having a few different options will give you variety in your final photos.

• What happens if I’m late to my session?
  Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to ensure you’re ready to go. If you’re late, we may not have enough time to complete your session, and this could impact the number of photos you receive.

• Will you help me with posing during the session?
  Absolutely! I will guide you throughout the shoot, helping you feel comfortable and confident with your poses, so you don’t have to worry about anything. We’ll make sure to capture your best side in every shot!

Booking Information

• How to Book:
  To book your session, please email me at ray@narratedframes.com. Include your preferred time slot (from the available spaces) and any questions you may have.

• Deposit & Payment Details:
  A £25 deposit is required to secure your session. The full payment must be made at least 14 days prior to the shoot date. This will ensure your session is confirmed and scheduled.

• Cancellation Policy:

  • 14 days or more before the session: Full refund of the deposit.

  • Between 14 and 7 days before the session: 50% of the total cost is forfeited.

  • Less than 7 days before the session: The full amount is forfeited.
